Melissa is an experienced performer in many genres of music. She has worked as accompanist for some of the finest musicians in the world, and has been an associate artist in many concerts. She is in demand as an accompanist for eisteddfodau, exams and concerts, and is renowned for her rapport with instrumentalists and vocalists. Melissa has performed on many occasions in the Sydney Opera House as an accompanist.
Contemporary music is also a passion and Melissa spent 20 years playing keyboard in Shed Banned. She has worked with many contemporary artists and enjoys the collaboration of studio work. In 2022 Melissa played keyboard in the band for the highly acclaimed Empire Theatre production of ‘We Will Rock You’.
As a repetiteur Melissa has worked on many productions, including Pirates of Penzance, Kinky Boots, Oliver, Titanic, Mamma Mia, Boy from Oz, We Will Rock You and more.
Melissa is also one half of the acclaimed duo, Queens of Song, with Meg Kiddle (vocalist). Together they have performed to enthusiastic audiences and received glowing reviews.
