Piano
Melissa has achieved her AMusA (with Distinction), Licentiate and Fellowship Diplomas with Trinity College London. She teaches piano from beginner to Diploma level and her students enjoy a wide variety of genres. Melissa is also an accomplished accompanist and regularly works in this field for exams, concerts, recordings and as repetituer for productions.
Saxophone & Clarinet
Melissa teaches saxophone and clarinet to Diploma level and has had many students achieve their Associate and Licentiate Diplomas. Her students are renowned for an excellent level of musicality and attention to detail. Her students sit for exams and also perform in eisteddfodau, concerts and other competitions. She has had numerous students go on to study at Tertiary level.
Flute & Recorder
Melissa holds a Licentiate with Trinity College London on recorder and teaches both recorder and flute to Diploma level. One of the highlights of Melissa’s career was developing and then touring the UK with the Breimba flute trio. Melissa has had countless flute and recorder ensembles over the years and many have performed in the Sydney Opera House and other venues. Her flute and recorder students achieve high results in exams and numerous students have gone on to study at Tertiary level.
